About the title
The title "A Change Is Coming" stems from the hope that human rights education (HRE) does foster positive social change around the world. Thanks to HRE, people can not only learn about their rights but they can also learn to to exercise and claim rights (their own and those of others whose rights are abused or violated). Measuring what this social change looks like has been a constant struggle for me over the years. Writing blogs has been helpful for me because it forces me to reflect on the nature of my work, how effective I am, how I can improve what I am doing and in what way I can contribute towards this social change.
About me
I am a human rights consultant and founded Conception pédagogique PointBleu in 2011. Clients to date include Amnesty International, where I reviewed the organization's HRE systems and structures, and the United Nations Development Program in Tunisia, where I evaluated the human rights training offered to security forces. I have also contributed to the editing and design of Amnesty International (Netherlands) Haki Zetu, ESC Rights in Practice series of booklets.

I am also a Senior Program Associate at Human Rights Education Associates (HREA), where I have assisted the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in developing a human rights policy, offered training on international human rights, co-facilitated an online course on social media and human rights, and assisted the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Government of Mauritius in assessing the integration of human rights education in secondary schools. Prior to my work as a consultant, I was a Senior Education Specialist at Equitas for nearly ten years.
